Name: Samantha Grace Murphy.

Nickname: Sam, Sami, Smurph, Smurphy, Smurphette, Grace, Gracie. 

Age: From late teens to early-late twenties. 

Hometown: Born in Montreal, Quebec. Raised outside of Toronto, Canada.

Currently Resides: Anywhere, honestly. At this point in her life she's a drifter going wherever she can get work. But she prefers big cities and suburban areas that are within short drives for nature trips. 

General Description: She's 5'6" with an athletic build, not super jacked, but definitely muscular. Her hair is long and blonde, sometimes dyed with highlights or streaks of various colors. Her eyes are dark blue. Sam generally dresses pretty casually, think t-shirts and jeans, and she's almost always wearing a leather jacket so long as the weather allows. She does occasionally dress up, and she enjoys that, but she mostly keeps it comfortable - she's very active and athletic so she can also be spotted in activewear a lot, too. 

Distinguishing Marks: At any given time she's probably sporting visible minor injuries, like small cuts and bruises. Her ears are pierced twice in each lobe, and there's a faint scar where her eyebrow ring (right eye) used to be. She has a few tattoos. A small pair of angel wings on the back of her neck, as well as a four-leaf clover on her right hip, and a maple leaf on her right hip. 

Personality: Sam is.... mostly friendly. As a younger woman her fuse is a little shorter, and she can have quite the temper. She likes to fight, and she's good at it. Her typical attitude is to be nice and respectful until someone gives her reason not to be. More often than not she has the self-control not to throw the first punch, unless she's pushed very far, or perhaps defending someone else. Though if she's drunk or otherwise under the influence she could be pushed a lot more easily. She will not suffer bullies, and she can be downright vicious when she's angry. She tries her best not to be too hateful, but she's not perfect. 

Once considers someone a friend, she's very loyal. She loves kids, and is very protective of them. Big auntie energy. She wants to be a mom, but she's not sure if it'll ever happen (she knows she'll have fertility issues at this point if she's not already infertile). She is extremely family oriented, being extremely close with her father and brother. This would certainly extend to anyone she meets who gets close enough to her. 

Alignment: Chaotic Good, but an argument could be made for Lawful Neutral. She has her own code that she tries to stick to. When it comes down to it, she wants to be Good. But she also thinks that some rules are fucking stupid, and sometimes Bad things need doing to achieve certain goals. Her loyalty extends to causes she supports, unless she's given a reason to break ranks. She isn't the type to pull the ladder up behind herself, she wants others to succeed with her. 

Sexuality, Gender, and Romance: Sam is straight and cisgender. She has done (or might do) some experimenting, and might occasionally take a desperate hookup. But she'll be up front that she's only looking for sex, and chances are she won't be a very nice partner. She won't be outright cruel, she'll just be hesitant to be too nice out of concern for the other person getting attached to her. It's only scratching an itch for her. She's definitely heteroromantic, only finding romantic attraction to men. Even her hookups with non-men are really just about getting off. 

Her romantic choices are generally... bad. She often dates big muscley assholes. As a result she's been in some minorly abusive relationships. Nothing too traumatic at this point in her life. (Here she's definitely being written before her life-threatening attack, unlike older Sam.)

Upbringing: She was raised in a wealthy family, though she doesn't live like she was. Her father was a professional hockey player in the NHL until he retired, and then worked as an analyst in the media. He is a beloved figure locally and in the hockey community at large. Her brother Jay is as well, who went on to also play in the NHL as a star goaltender. Though she grew up with money, she is used to scraping by on her own - she's often too stubborn to accept help unless the situation is truly dire. 

As a kid, she was a bit of a terror, getting kicked out of girls' hockey for playing too rough. Her whole life, she'd been a wrestling fan, but it wasn't until about 15 or 16 that she started to think it was something she could actually do. She begged her father to let her train, and he agreed to sign a waiver so she could start her training at 16. It's something that gives her focus and teaches her some discipline. At least for a little while. At 18 she strikes out on her own, taking independent wrestling gigs around the Toronto area, and gradually branches out farther as she gains more experience and word about her skills spreads. She wrestles under many different ring names, and occasionally goes viral on the internet for both her insane stunts and her hand-made wrestling attire. 

She also has a large social media presence, sharing behind the scenes looks at creating the costumes she wrestles in. A lot of them are essentially cosplays she can wrestles in, as she has a lot of pop culture interests. Her accounts post videos and she also does photoshoots, modeling of the costumes she creates. Occasionally she does online streams, showing viewers her sewing techniques or playing video games. She has a relatively small cult following. 

In addition to being a proficient professional wrestler, she can also legitimately fight. She has received training in multiple fighting styles, boxing, kick boxing. She is very knowledgeable about submission holds and ways to subdue an opponent. 

While she isn't the most academic, she speaks multiple languages fluently: French (which she learned as a child from her mother), Spanish, and (mostly fluent) Japanese. She also speaks some basic Russian and German. She enjoys learning languages and mimicking accents, and she's quite talented at it. 

NOTE: Sam isn't always going to be involved with professional wrestling, just because I know it's something that not everyone else is into. So otherwise she's probably just a relatively unknown online personality who finds work doing the other things she's skilled at.
